Palmdale Water District’s Human Resources Department is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and reviewing of activities and operations for the human resource function. Included in this area are: recruitment, selection, classification, compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, compensation, benefits, recordkeeping, administration, employee relations, risk management, and safety.
Human Resources Manager
Ms. Emery began her employment with the District in November, 2013 as the Human Resources Manager. She oversees all HR functions of the Palmdale Water District. Prior to her employment with the Palmdale Water District, she serviced as Director of Human Resources for both non-profits and banking organizations. She is a member of SHRM with a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from HRCI. In addition to working in the HR field, she has served as the Advocacy Captain for SHRM San Diego. Ms. Emery has taught as a guest lecturer around the country in the areas of recruitment, morale maintenance, change management, and volunteer management. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Bellevue University. Email Mrs. Emery
