The Haskett Fire this week got a little close to Littlerock Dam. Bravo to the firefighters for their swift work! Several water-dropping aircraft scooped water from Lake Palmdale to fight the fire that was at Mount Emma & Cheseboro Road in Palmdale. Full or not what does it matter 😂 you guys will never come to an agreement with USFS to open the dam. It’ll collect water regardless so you can send it to Lake Palmdale.
Curious as to why they didn’t get it out of Little Rock Dam, which is probably 10 miles closer would’ve made turnaround a lot faster? Or his little rock damn top secret is why nobody’s allowed up there and they get fined for even thinking about walking up there kind of stupid that they closed it down if you ask me.
