Sponsors Landscape Irrigation workshops

PALMDALE, CA March 8, 2011‐ PWD is sponsoring several landscape workshops this year. Everyone interested in renovating their yard into a low maintenance, water wise, beautiful landscape help is on the way. The workshops listed below are planning workshops that will inspire your creativity and guide everyone through the design process.

3­-Day Saturday Course
There is a small entry fee (for one or all three days) for this course of $10.00.
Registration form is available at District office or call (661) 456‐1001.
When: Saturday March 12th, March 26th, and April 9th
Time: 9:00 am‐11:00 am
Where: PWD office/ Boardroom, 2029 East Avenue Q,
Theme: “Cash for Grass Landscape Design and Planning”

PWD will start this course by explaining the Cash for Grass Program. Whether you hire a landscape contractor or do the work yourself this course is designed for you. There are many decisions to make when renovating your landscape. Brad Hays, (Green Bee Nursery) will set you on the right path. Each workshop is a two (2) hour session with an extra hour for questions.

Theme: Hunter, ET Smart Controllers
Sam Perez, Hunter Industries, will show us how to reduce water use with a smart controller. You will be watering what the landscape
