Local special districts came together with elected representatives for meaningful conversations about the work impacting our communities at the federal, state and county levels. The afternoon concluded with a special tour of the Parris Center (Multi-Agency Regional Resilience Center).

Once again, kudos to the firefighters for their great work on the Hilary Fire at 40th Street East & Barrel Springs Road yesterday. It got dangerously close to homes, the aqueduct & our Wells 18 and19. It also burned some vegetation around the Palmdale Ditch, so our #BESTCREWEVER will be cleaning up debris & fixing some banks on the ditch run over by bulldozers. ❤️🔥👨🚒
The response was almost immediate and the work of all involved was impressive. A couple hours later it was under control. We live close by and got to witness the whole thing. Absolutely amazing!
