The Leslie O. Carter Water Treatment Plant has been shut down for its annual winter maintenance. During the one-week closure, customers will be receiving groundwater that may appear milky. It is caused by oxygen in the water during pumping. Let it sit for a few minutes & the water will clear. The water is safe to drink.
