Palmdale Water District sponsors Water Efficiency Workshops

PALMDALE, CA, July 27, 2011 – The Palmdale Water District is sponsoring a series of three (3) landscape workshops to help customers learn how to renovate their yards into beautiful water wise landscapes. This is the third time this series has been presented, once in 2010 and this will be the last time for 2011. So please note the times and we hope to see you there.

Saturday Mornings
JULY 30TH 9:00 AM -11:00AM
AUGUST 6TH 9:00 AM -11:00AM
AUGUST 13TH 9:00 AM -11:00AM

At the District office-2029 East Avenue Q, Palmdale, Ca.
$10.00 fee per person for all three workshops
Register on site at the District office

These exciting workshops will not only inspire your creative ability, but will help and teach you the total process of renovating your landscape. If you are a Palmdale Water District customer you can also sign up for the District’s “Cash for Grass” Program or several other rebate programs the District has to offer.

Thank you PWD for putting on this event! It was a lot of fun and very informative. You guys did a great job breaking down the treatment process and answering questions. The facility is really impressive. 😍 Thank you again, and I’m definitely signing up for the next round of the ambassador program. :)

As a fairly recent Water Ambassador grad, I’m a huge fan of the staff, all of those we met with are dedicated and passionate employees, I would not hesitate for a second to work with them

The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed Alternative Residential Landscape Area Measurement Data that will be submitted to the state Department of Water Resources: https://arcg.is/1av0aD6. This data will be used to help maintain reporting accuracy and ensure PWD’s continued compliance with state regulations. 🗺️
 
Written comments can be submitted to cbolanos@palmdalewater.org, by mail or in-person to 2029 East Avenue Q, Palmdale, CA 93550, and must be received no later than 4 p.m. Sept. 28, 2026. A public hearing will be held the same day at 6 p.m. at the District. 📝 ... See MoreSee Less
