Palmdale Water District releases new and improved web site

admin March 16, 2011

PALMDALE, CA, March 16, 2011 – The Palmdale Water District’s IT Department Manager, James Stanton, reported that the new web site launched today. The new website was designed and created with the customer in mind. Easy management of accounts, paying bills, finding service applications, rebate forms, educational projects and programs, and employment opportunities are among the website features available right at the customer’s fingertips!

Another exciting feature of the new website is the highly anticipated Autopay and E- check service. Scheduling automatic or one time payments with a checking account, savings account or credit card number will be available. Also, based on customer requests, we have added the option to “Go Green” with the new online bill pay and presentment. Customers now have the option of going completely paperless with e- mailed billing or can request both a hard copy and e-mailed version of the water bill. In addition, customers can now view bill and payment history up to 18 months online! Current on-line customers will need to re-register on the District’s new website.

🍂💧PWD Fall Watering Recommendations💧🍂
With cooler weather, landscapes need less water to stay healthy. Adjusting your schedule saves water, protects our supply, and keeps your yard thriving.

✅ Fall Guidelines (Oct–Dec):
Water 2 days a week
Run each sprinkler zone for 5 minutes
Total per day: about 15 minutes per watering day
Total per week: 30 minutes per week

🌱 Pro Tips:
Water early morning or evening to reduce evaporation.
Aim water at the outer edge of your plant’s canopy, not just the base.
Check sprinklers often, misdirected sprays waste water on sidewalks & driveways.

Every drop makes a difference. Let’s use water wisely together. 💙
