Proposition 218 Notice of Proposed Water Rate Increases and Changes to the District’s Water Rate Calculation Methodology

PWD, as required by Article XIIID of the California Constitution (Proposition 218), has conducted a new Water Rate Study to review the existing rates, and to determine the estimated future costs of purchasing water, meeting State regulations, and completing system-wide maintenance projects to cover the next five years (January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2029).

PWD customers may qualify for rebates on select water-efficient upgrades, including high-efficiency toilets, clothes washers, irrigation controllers, sprinkler nozzles, micro-irrigation conversions, hot water recirculating pumps, and more. Small changes at home can make a big impact on water conservation and your utility bill.
