Where can I get information, applications and qualifying model lists about Palmdale Water District rebate programs?
Applications and qualifying model lists for all of our rebate programs are available on the Palmdale Water District website under conservation / rebates. Further information can be obtained by contacting a representative in the conservation department at 661-947-4111 x 120 or x 101.

Which rebate application do I use?There are different applications available for each program. Please read the application and qualifying materials before signing up for any program or rebate. Rebate application must be filled out completely, please include proper manufactures' make and model numbers when applicable and sign each application. These items are important and will delay the application process when not completed properly.

Which rebates are available as a credit back to the customer on their water bill?
Palmdale Water District currently provides rebates for High Efficiency Clothes Washers (HECW), replacing older (pre-1992) models of toilets with High Efficiency Toilets (HET), replacing sprinkler head parts with MP Rotators. PWD now has a rebate program for all ET/Smart, SWAT tested, controllers. Please see the rebate application and the approved SWAT tested controller list.

Which programs or other rebates are available?

  1. The District provides a Cash for Grass Program, which rebates $.40 per square foot of grass that is taken out and converted into a water wise type of landscape. Please see complete application and qualifying materials before you take out any grass.
  2. HydroPoint /PWD Smart Controller Program-Under this program HydroPoint Data Systems will provide a landscape irrigation survey and to qualified customers, installation of a smart controller. Customers will be able to sign the agreement online. For a valve of $1240.00 you pay $14.99 a month for five years on your water bill.

How long does the rebate process normally take?
PWD customers can generally expect to receive a rebate within four to six weeks, beginning after a completed application has been received.

I can't view a rebate application and/or model list on the Palmdale Water District website. What should I do?
First, please make sure your Adobe Acrobat software is up-to-date. If you are still having trouble viewing any PDF of a rebate-related document on our website, you may contact a representative in Palmdale Water District's conservation department at (661) 947-4111 x101 to request copies to pick up at office headquarters or to be mailed to you.
