Payment Options

At the Palmdale Water District, we understand our customers' needs for variety of payment options when paying their bills. Therefore we offer several different payment options.

Pay Online

For your convenience you can manage your account and pay your bill Online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your Online Account Access allows you to pay your bill within our secured environment by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or by ACH check. You can either submit a one-time payment or set up your account for Auto Pay. If the Auto Pay feature is activated your auto payment will start when the next billing statement is issued and will initiate the payment four (4) days before your bill is due. Only the current charge amount will be withdrawn from your specified account.

WARNING WEBSITE IS NOT REAL-TIME: Online payments take up to 2 business days to be processed and posted to your account. If your bill is due today or if you have received a 48-hour Disconnect Notice, please be aware that your online payment will not be posted to your water account in time to avoid late fees, 48-hour Disconnect Notice, or shut off for non-payment.

Pay by Telephone

For payment Inquiries and to make a payment with a Customer Service Representative call us during business hours 661-947-4111, Option 2. We can only process your payment by credit/ debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).

To make payments using the automated telephone payment system call 855-498-9969, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We can process your payment by credit/ debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or by Electronic Check.


Pay by Mail

If you wish to pay by US postal service, we accept payments by check or money order. Make your checks payable to Palmdale Water District and mail to:

Pay in Office

If you wish to come by the office to pay your bill in person, we accept cash, check, money order, credit (Visa and Mastercard) and debit card. Our main office is located at:

Payment Drop Box

There is a payment drop box located by the front entrance of the building for your convenience. Just place your payment in an envelope or use one of the payment envelopes provided at the box. Be sure to include your account number (if available) or service address on the envelope to insure correct processing. Note: All payments put in the drop box will be processed at 8:00 am the next business day excluding weekends and holidays.


Rejected Payment Policy

When a Consumer's payment is rejected, for any reason, the District will consider the account not paid. The consumer's account will be assessed a $45 rejected payment charge ($25 rejected payment fee and $20 doortag fee). A 48-Hour Disconnection Notice will be issued to obtain full restitution for the rejected payment. Water service will be disconnected if the amount of the rejected payment and all applicable fees, charges and/or deposits, if required, are not paid within the 48-hour period.

If your become aware that your payment is going to be rejected for any reason and you want to pay for the rejected item you must contact the office to make the payment plus any fees and/or deposits.
