| What is
the purpose of the Water Conservation Garden Park? |
| 1) The goal and purpose of the of the
Water Conservation Garden Park (WCGP) will be to educate the
public and youth on water conservation, recycling, waste management,
green waste recycling, anti pollution and ground water protection
while providing a new form of recreation with a garden atmosphere.
The WCGP will provide a “Concept of Resource Protection”
and provide youth with after school learning programs. |

| Where will
the Garden be located? |
| 2) The Garden will located directly east
of the Palmdale Water District’s office bldg. at 2029
East Ave Q in Palmdale, Ca. |

| How much
will the Garden cost and how will it be funded? |
| 3) The Palmdale Water District is anticipating
receiving grant funds to get started on the project. There will
be ample opportunities for the community and individuals to
support the project once we get started. |

| What type
of activities will take place at the Garden? |
| 4) The Water Conservation Garden Park
(WCGP) will consist of garden & exhibit spaces, garden
buildings, nature trails and exhibits, a children’s
garden and an outdoor amphitheater (seating 150-200 people)..
. The WCGP will be open as a self guided tour through the
seven steps of xeriscape, the children's garden and the other
conservation exhibits. The WCGP will offer paths for nature
walking, a picnic area, a garden gazebo for weddings and an
amphitheater for cultural events. The WCGP will provide organized
walks (tours), landscape workshops including school presentations
and bus tours to the garden park. |

you believe the Garden will be completed? |
5) If the District receives funding
this year or next the garden will competed in 2007.

will the Garden be and will it continue to grow? |
6) The Palmdale Water District is proposing
to use 5.65 acres of District property for the new recreation
facility that will benefit the surrounding communities at
large. |

a local business owner. Can I sponsor a portion of the Garden? |
| 8) Whether you are a local business owner
or a dog lover their will be plenty of opportunity to be apart
of the Garden. As the building of the garden progresses sponsorships
for water fountains, benches, brass sculptures, on down to the
cost of a brick with a person or pet name will be offered to
the public. |

Will
there be music and art performances at the park? Can local
musicians and theatre groups participate? |
| 9) The Garden will have an outdoor amphitheater
seating 150-200 people. The performances will include music
and fine arts enrichment. Local musicians and theatre groups
will be able to participate. |

What
hours will the Garden and Park remain open? |
| 10) The WCGP will be open 6 days a week
from 9:00 to 5:00 (Closed on Mondays) during the summer months
the WCGP will be open from 9:00am -7:00 pm. The WGCP will be
maintained by two full time staff on site, several docents and
youth volunteers. Security personal will be present at special
functions. |
